Adobe Creative
Suite CS6
Adobe Creative Suite 6 ranges from £800 - £900, it is a
highly professional web editing software, the computer to run it just above
minimum system requirements costs £557.16. For the motherboard I have chosen
the Asus AM1M-A, I have picked this because it is compatible with all other
hardware in the computer and is cheaply priced, allowing it to be brought on a
small budget after paying £800 for the software. To run Adobe Creative Suite
CS6 using a Windows operating system you have to have an Intel Podium 4 or an
AMD Athlon 64bit Processor, I picked the AMD Athlon 5350 Quad-Core 2.05GHz AM1
CPU because it again like the Asus AM1M-A is a very well-priced CPU for the
money with the power to run 64bit programmes which is cheaper than the Intel
Podium 4.
Adobe Suite CS6 also requires at least 512MB RAM but for the
programme to run smoothly with other software and applications in the
background I chose the 4GB DDR3 1600MHz Memory Module so that it can run Adobe
Suite CS6 smoothly as well as other applications in the background smoothly
too. I also recommend a PCI-Express x1 Wireless-N 300Mbps Network Card so that
when uploading web designs or streaming discussions with clients via video chat
it is able to send a lot of data per second, this is only £10.95 and could help
the company connect with people overseas to discuss ideas and receive feedback,
which you would need a webcam which could be an additional piece of equipment.
I chose a 4TB Seagate Barracuda 5900rpm SATA3 64mb Hard Drive because being a
web designer you will have to store a lot of images, files and videos which
will take up a lot of memory for the computer so a large amount is needed.
Another thing that I have added while making a recommended
computer is a Samsung SH-224BB 24x DVD +/-R SATA DVD Writer so that you can put
designs on to discs to create a backup in case anything happens to your
computer so that work can easily be recovered, again this costs £12.19 so is worth
the money because it will save a lot of time if you do lose any of your work. I
also added a Blu-Ray Writer for £49.95 which isn’t really needed as such but
could come would be helpful if a client every asks for it in that format. The
case I have put all the components of the computer into is the K2-Gamer ATX
Case, which allows an additional two HDD to be added and additional RAM to the
computer, costing £16.32 it is a great, cheap and sturdy case. I also recommend
having an EZCool 800w PSU so that it can supply power for long periods of time
as well as keeping the computer cool so that it can work to its potential.
For the monitor I recommend a 23.6 Inch widescreen LED
monitor so that all parts of the screen are easy to focus on without constantly
moving your eyes, another additional monitor could be added to allow the user
to conference call a client and go through designing with them, each monitor
costs £82.57 each and are great for media uses. I chose a wired keyboard and
mouse for the computer because working for long hours using a wireless mouse it
would run out of battery causing the user to have to stop to charge or change
batteries.
The operating system that I have chosen is Microsoft Windows
7 Ultimate because it is highly compatible Adobe Creative Suit CS6, runs 64Bit
programmes and is great for applications such as Skype, Internet Browsing and
Switching between applications. I also recommend buying Symantec Norton
Security for £16.27 which scans the computer daily for viruses and removes them
to a quarantine zone which allows the user to feel safer and secure when doing
work on the computer.
The total cost of this computer is £557.16 which the
software comes to £1,334.16 which is a reasonable price for being able to
deliver all service of a business from one place.
Express 2013 for
Windows
Express 2013 for Windows ranges from £550 - £600, it is
quite professional web editing software, the computer to run it just above
minimum system requirements costs £557.16. For the motherboard I have chosen
the Asus AM1M-A, I have picked this because it is compatible with all other
hardware in the computer and is cheaply priced, allowing it to be brought on a small
budget after paying £600 for the software. To run Microsoft Express 2013 using
a Windows operating system you have to have a processor which runs faster than
1.6GHz, I picked the AMD Athlon 5350 Quad-Core 2.05GHz AM1 CPU because it again
like the Asus AM1M-A is a very well-priced CPU for the money with the power to
run 64bit programmes which is cheaper than the other possible CPUs, it is also
2.05GHz which allows other CPU power to be used in other applications or
software.
Microsoft Express 2013
also requires at least 1.5GB RAM
but for the programme to run smoothly with other software and applications in
the background I chose the 4GB DDR3 1600MHz Memory Module so that it can run Microsoft
Express 2013 smoothly as well as other applications in the background smoothly
too. I also recommend a PCI-Express x1 Wireless-N 300Mbps Network Card so that
when uploading web designs or streaming discussions with clients via video chat
it is able to send a lot of data per second, this is only £10.95 and could help

The operating system that I have chosen is Microsoft Windows

programmes and is great for applications such as Skype, Internet Browsing and
Switching between applications. I also recommend buying Symantec Norton
Security for £16.27 which scans the computer daily for viruses and removes them
to a quarantine zone which allows the user to feel safer and secure when doing
work on the computer.
The total cost of this computer is £557.16 which the
software comes to £1157.16 which is a reasonable price for being able to
deliver all service of a business from one place.
Serif Webplus X8
Serif Webplus X8ranges from £80 - £90, it is great web
editing software for a beginner web designer who needs to get money before
spending loads on better software, the computer to run it just above minimum
system requirements costs £548.91. For the motherboard I have chosen the Asus
AM1M-A, I have picked this because it is compatible with all other hardware in
the computer and is cheaply priced, allowing it to be brought on a small budget
including the software. To run Serif Webplus X8 using a Windows operating
system there are no specific requirements, I picked the AMD AMD Sempron 2650 Kabini
Dual-Core 1.45GHz AM1 Retail CPU because like the Asus AM1M-A is a very
well-priced CPU for the money with the power to run 32bit programmes which is
cheaper than other alternatives.
Serif Webplus X8 also requires at least 1GB RAM but for the
programme to run smoothly with other software and applications in the
background I chose the 4GB DDR3 1600MHz Memory Module so that it can run Serif
Webplus X8 smoothly as well as other applications in the background smoothly
